August 3, 2010 > Speaking in Tongues Speaking in Tongues Submitted By Wei-Lin Tong Citizens for Better Community, Fremont Main Library, and the Chinese Immersion Parents' Council of Fremont are co-sponsoring a pre-broadcast screening of "Speaking in Tongues," a documentary that follows several children through their language immersion programs. This is a special screening that will include an interactive live discussion with the filmmakers Ken Schneider and Marcia Jamal, among others. The documentary will air on KQED-TV on September 26 to a broader audience.
