Robbery at Arroyo Park
Two male suspects physically assaulted a male juvenile on Thursday, July 15 at Arroyo Park. Officers responded to investigate a reported stabbing which turned out to be a robbery. Suspects assaulted the victim and snatched his wallet. The physical injuries were not stab wounds. The victim said one of the suspects wore a "Joker" mask and also provided a suspect vehicle description to the Police. This case is still under investigation.

Drugs found on 13th Street
On Tuesday, July 20, during the morning hours, Union City Police and Newark Police SWAT Teams served a search warrant on 13th St. in Union City. Marijuana and other paraphernalia were located. Major Crimes Task Force is continuing the investigation.

The same day a suspect was booked at the Fremont Jail for possessing 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Officers arrested the suspect after a brief foot pursuit on Whipple Road near Industrial Parkway. The suspect threw away the package containing the drugs as he tried to flee. The drugs were recovered.

Police Taser drunk suspect resisting arrest
Police Tasered a drunken suspect resisting arrest in the area of 9th Street and F Street, where a group of males were fighting. The incident happened on Thursday, July 22. One of the subjects had a head injury and was extremely intoxicated. As officers were trying to sort out what occurred, one subject refused to follow the Officers' orders. When Police began to make an arrest for being drunk in public, the suspect began to resist, but eventually was arrested.
