Fire Chief Sheldon Gilbert presented Alameda County Fire Department's strategic plan.
City Manager Reports Accepted the work with Top Grade Construction, Inc., for the 2009 Asphalt Concrete Street Overlay project.
Approved selling property located at 37086 Walnut Street, with September 9, 2010 set as the date for public hearing.
Approved a Certification and Mutual Indemnification Agreement with Alameda County.
Approved delinquent garbage payments of the County tax rolls.
Approved permit for Newark Day celebration providing barricades and traffic control for Newark Days parade.
Approved agreement with Psychological Services Group for professional services for consultation and training.
Approved placing Utility Users Tax, a general tax with a tax rate of 3.5 percent, applied to gas, electric, telecommunications and video services on November 2, 2010 ballot.
