New Works Showcase

Sarah Araya and Megumi Tembata, both of Fremont; Jordan Battle, of Hayward, Miriam Araya of San Leandro, and Jasmine Williams of San Lorenzo will be among the artists contributing to "New Works Showcase," featuring women empowering women by taking on their relationships with the opposite sex.
Ann Fajilan, assistant professor of theatre and dance, is working with cast members on monologues and short scenes on how far women will go and endure for love, and on social mores from pick-up lines to "China Dolls," and the "Daddy's Little Girl trap."
The show is appropriate for 'tweens and older. All tickets are $5 and may be reserved at tickets@csueastbay.edu or by calling (510) 885-3118. They may be purchased at the University Bookstore on campus. Campus parking fee at $7 per day is enforced 24/7.
