Auto-theft Two male suspects were arrested for stealing a vehicle and possession of burglary tools. 19-year-old San Jose resident Jessie Garcia Soto and 26-year-old Ramon Benito Jaramillo possessed burglary tools and a concealed dagger. An arrest was made on Wednesday, July 14 at approximately 4:33 a.m. on Milmont Drive in Milpitas. The Suspects were detained for stealing a vehicle from the parking lot of Mill Creek apartments located at 440 Dixon Landing Road.
Theft at South Hillview Drive Approximately $5,000 worth of Copper drainage piping was stolen from rooftop of Bollinger Hillview Associates located at 400 South Hillview Drive. The Owner reported theft on Friday, July 9. The case is under investigation.
Commercial Burglary at Great Mall A 55-year-old male was arrested for commercial burglary and theft. He stole approximately $600 worth of clothing from Burlington Coat Factory located at 1400 Great Mall Drive on Tuesday, July 13. The Fremont resident entered the store with his own bag which he filled and exited without paying for merchandise. Loss prevention officers intercepted him outside, and turned him over to Milpitas PD.
