Fist Fight in Irvington
Six people were involved in a fight in front of a house located at 5500 block of Butano Park on Thursday, July 15. All parties were leaving in two vehicles when Police arrived. Officer Layfield stopped one of the vehicles and located the victim. The victim had sustained an injury on the head and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police have identified the suspect who is still at large.

Armed Robbery
On Friday, July 16, two suspects armed with black semi-automatic handguns robbed Irvington Liquors on Fremont Boulevard. After demanding cash from the clerk and putting the loot into a black backpack, they fled in an older Chevrolet or GMC Tahoe-type vehicle with tinted rear windows. The suspects are described as White or Hispanic males in their twenties. They were last seen wearing black clothing with black bandanas covering their faces.

Another armed robbery was reported on the same day at Little Caesars Pizza on Fremont Boulevard when two black male adults snatched the cash register at gunpoint and fled toward Waterstone Apartments. A perimeter was set and a search conducted with K9 Harkos but the suspects are still at large.

A Black male adult armed with a small, semi-automatic handgun robbed a clerk of cash at "OO" Liquor store on Monday, July 19. The suspect was last seen wearing black clothing and ski mask and fled on foot eastbound on Darwin Drive. The case is under investigation.

Five window smash commercial burglaries were reported on Sunday, July 18. Three businesses in the 37012 Towers complex - Little Kabul Market; Maiwand Kabob House and Taqwa Islamic Center were burglarized. Dominos Pizza located at 38487 Fremont Boulevard and another business located at 4700 Hanover Place were also robbed.

Two suspects were arrested for stealing a grey Acura Integra from Fremont Boulevard. On Monday, July 19, a resident watched the suspects park a vehicle in the carport area of Heritage Village Apartments and then jump the fence into the Pentagon Apartments. Police set up a perimeter around the apartment complex, and began surveillance at 3803 Village Terrace. Within a few hours, both subjects returned to the vehicle and were subsequently arrested. A 21-year-old male was arrested for vehicle theft and possession of a controlled substance. His 14-year-old accomplice was also arrested for vehicle theft and possession of shaved vehicle ignition keys which were also stolen.
