Glenmoor Stingrays eke by Warm Springs Gators
Submitted By Victor Seeley
This past Saturday, July 17, the Warm Springs Gators swim team swam against the Glenmoor Stingrays in a heavily contested East Bay Swim League dual meet. Glenmoor won by a close margin, 500-545. The Gator coaches were very impressed by the sportsmanship the Stingray swimmers continually showed during the meet.
This upcoming Saturday, July 24, the Gators will host their final dual meet of the season against the Chabot Marlins team from Castro Valley. The meet will be the first time these two teams face each other in a dual meet since 2002. Of the 12 teams in the EBSL, the Chabot Marlins is looking like the team to beat as they have yet to lose a dual meet. The Gators wish them the best of luck heading into the final two weeks of the season.
