Milpitas Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating two male suspects involved in the homicide of 34-year-old Richmond resident Michael Anthony Davis.
The fatal shooting occurred in the Great Mall parking garage on October 16 last year. At 7:21 p.m. Milpitas Police Department responded to the location at 1100 Great Mall Drive in Milpitas where the victim was found deceased at the scene.
The initial investigation developed a possible suspect vehicle description as a large, full-size unknown make or model SUV, black in color, with dark tinted windows and chrome wheels. This vehicle may have gunshot damage to its body and one of the windows may be shattered. The SUV was seen leaving the area of the parking garage at the time of the shooting, and was occupied by two unidentified males, possibly of Hispanic descent.
Mall surveillance video captured the attached picture of the SUV as it was driving on mall property. During this investigation, Milpitas Police Department detectives obtained information that the male individuals associated with the SUV may have been in a store at the mall. The store surveillance video was reviewed and the attached pictures of the male suspects were obtained.
The identity and exact location of the store is not being disclosed at this time due to the on-going homicide investigation. Information developed during this investigation revealed that the males pictured in the store surveillance video may frequent or reside in the Salinas area.
