Bike theft
On Wednesday, June 30 a bicycle was stolen at Erie Court. Police are looking for the male suspect who was seen riding away on the bicycle. The dark metal blue woman's bicycle was reported missing by the victim.

Attempted auto theft
Attempted auto theft was reported on Wednesday, June 30 at approximately 2030 hours at Dixon Landing. 19 year old male victim reported that the steering column of his Honda Accord was pried off. No description of a suspect is available.

Petty theft at Milpitas Library
A 54-year-old male reported his cell phone was stolen. He had left the cell phone for charging at the library unattended.

Theft at Great Mall Drive
A laptop, black leather zipper wallet, cell phone, and house and car keys were reported stolen at Converse Shoe Store located at 479 Great Mall Drive. The incident took place on Sunday, June 27. According to the employee of the store, items were in locker in employee lounge area. Stolen property has not been recovered and no suspects have been arrested so far. According to witnesses, an unknown male was seen in vicinity of the locker area before items were reported missing.

On Saturday, June 26, a laptop computer and car keys were reported stolen from McDonald's located at 99 N . Milpitas Blvd. According to the manager he had placed the keys on the counter and then reported missing. Keys were used to access his car and steal the laptop. The Manager checked surveillance footage, recognized the suspect and called the police. When suspect returned to make another food purchase, manager called PD and he was arrested. Nestor Montes, 40-year-old male, a frequent customer, was arrested for theft.
