Fremont Bank announces promotions

Donald Marek
Fremont Bank announced today that Donald Marek has been promoted to Director of Special Assets.
Marek brings more than 10 years of real estate management experience to the Director of Special Assets position. In this role, he will be responsible for working with commercial borrowers to manage special asset sales, recovery, and collection efforts of non-performing commercial loans. He will also develop and implement strategies to minimize loan losses for the Bank.
Prior to joining Fremont Bank as the Commercial REO Manager in 2009, Marek advised corporate clients on real estate issues as a Senior Portfolio Manager for Mohr Partners, Inc. in Walnut Creek, and led branding efforts for the Clorox Company in Oakland.
John Nguyen
John Nguyen joins Fremont Bank's growing Commercial Lending department as a Commercial Business Development Officer. Nguyen provides Fremont Bank with a wide range of banking experience focused primarily on commercial banking and market development. In this role, he will be responsible for growing existing commercial lending relationships and providing new commercial real estate and multi-family lending services to the San Jose area.
Prior to joining Fremont Bank, Nguyen held similar positions in the San Francisco Bay Area with CFC Commercial Finance Corporation, San Jose National Bank and Bank of Walnut Creek. |
