July 2, 2010 > Woman found dead in her house Woman found dead in her house Submitted By Sergeant Steve Brown, Hayward PD An 80-year-old woman was found dead at her residence located at 25352 Spring Drive in Hayward at approximately 4:56 p.m. Relatives went to her house on Sunday, June 27 in the afternoon after the woman did not answer their phone calls. The woman, who lived alone, was apparently shot to death. A motive for the homicide is unknown at this time and any speculation is premature. The woman's identity has not been released. This is Hayward's 11th homicide of 2010. Citizens with information about this crime are asked to call the Hayward Police Department Investigation's Bureau at (510) 293-7034.
