Burglary On Thursday, June 10, officers responded to a burglary in progress at a residence on Calistoga Street. Officers arrived and surrounded the location while they waited for a K-9 unit to arrive. As they waited, three suspects ran out of the residence in an attempt to escape. Officers gave chase and were able to capture all three suspects. The suspects turned out to be 16-year-olds from out of the area. The suspects were taken to Juvenile Hall.
On Thursday, June 17 officers arrested two juvenile suspects for attempted burglary on Alvarado Boulevard. The suspects rang the doorbell of the residence and, after the homeowner did not answer, entered the backyard and attempted to enter the residence. Officers located and arrested the suspects.
Possession of drugs On Monday evening June 14, officers conducted a probation search of a known drug suspect at a residence on San Andreas Drive. Officers located the female suspect and arrested her on a $100,000 drug arrest warrant and taken to jail. She was also found in possession of additional drugs.
Possession of firearm On Tuesday, June 15, officers from the COPPS Unit detained two known gang members on probation, a violation of their probation. Officers also located ammunition in their vehicle, another violation. Upon further investigation, a gun discarded by one of the gang members prior to being detained was located by officers. The suspects were taken to jail for weapon and violation of probation charges.
Drunk driving Officers arrested a drunk driver on Thursday, June 17 involved in a three-car collision at Dyer Street and Alvarado Boulevard involving an AC Transit bus. |
