An exhibit of high quality, highly creative art by local high school students and homeschoolers is on display at Sun Art Gallery. Students will present paintings, sculptures, photography, and collages. The art will be juried and top three students will win prizes.
To help celebrate the artwork of these students a reception will be held on Saturday, June 5, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit and reception is free but donations are appreciated.
Sun Gallery also hosts Free Saturday Art for families on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from 1p.m. to 3 p m. An art teacher will help guide students on projects which are usually mixed media. Parents are also encouraged to participate. This art class is meant to help teach students how to let their creative ideas flow and help relieve stress.
