Impact a child's life... become a teacher! Chabot College is hosting an information session on Thursday, June 3, at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. for those interested in learning about how to earn an AA degree, BA Degree, and Credential.
East Bay Teacher Pathway is a great grant opportunity at Chabot College for at risk youth ages 17-24. The program needs to get 60 kids on board to start by mid-July. It is an unusual program, with students in cohorts and a support person actually taking the classes with them.
The East Bay Teacher Pathway offers opportunities like enhancing academic skills to ensure college success, paid work experience while enrolled in the program, placement assistance in after-school programs, and work experience with children and youth. They also offer financial aid, scholarships, tutoring services, and more.
East Bay Teacher pathway Information Session Thursday, June 3 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Chabot College, Room 405 25555 Hesperian Blvd., Hayward
