Annual Kids Public Speaking Competition

Gift of the gab need not be an inborn quality. Fremont Hindu Temple is organizing an annual kids competition to help children boost their confidence by overcoming public speaking fear and to hone their public speaking skills. Contest is open to children between the ages of 5 years to 13 years. Contestants may choose to speak on any of the given topics for four minutes. The topics for the competition are: Culture of India; Festival of India; Great Personalities of the Nation; its Religions; History or Current Events. Topics also include World Current Events; Cities and Village Life of India and Celebrating India's Culture in USA. Trophies and certificates will be awarded to all winners in the respective age group. All contestants will receive a certificate for participation. There is no entry fee for the contest.
