Juvenile threatens to harm himself On Monday, May 17, at approximately 1037 hours, officers responded to Milani School on a report that a juvenile was threatening to harm himself. He was taken for an involuntary psychiatric hold and transported to Children's Hospital.
Bank robbery Officers responded to Fremont Bank located in the Safeway Center for a reported robbery on Monday, May 17, at approximately 1128 hours. A black adult male with long dreadlocks entered the bank with a demand note indicating he had a gun. The male fled the area after completing the robbery. Suspect is described as being light skinned, 5' 11" tall, weighing approximately 160-170 pounds, and was last seen wearing a white hoodie. He fled and entered a gray Jeep Cherokee parked on the west side of the building. The Jeep was described as 90s model with dark tinted windows. The driver appeared to be a white adult male. The vehicle fled on Highway 84 toward Fremont.
Vandalism On Wednesday, May 19, at approximately 2032 hours, Officer Norvell investigated a vandalism incident which occurred in the parking lot of the Ramirez Market located at 36601 Newark Blvd. Two Hispanic males attacked and damaged an occupied minivan in front of the store. Officer Norvell arrested a juvenile for his role in the vandalism. Police are looking for the second suspect. |
