May 14, 2010 > Music in the Park Music in the Park Submitted By Dave Corkrum The Golden Gate Chapter of the Musical Box Society International will be providing entertainment in the form of Band and Fairground organs on the park grounds and displays of musical boxes inside the Patterson House located on the grounds of the Ardenwood Park. This is the sixth year that they have been invited and members will be on hand to hand-crank a few portable organs known as monkey organs. Chartered in 1949, the Musical Box Society International is a non-profit organization dedicated to enjoying, and preserving all types of automatic musical instruments.
