Honoring our companion animals
Submitted By Kelly Grant
If you have suffered loss and wish to mend a broken heart, this is the ideal workshop. Attendees can spend an afternoon creating a collage, cutting and pasting images together to create a one-of-a- kind pet memorial. No art experience is required.
The workshops are designed for anyone who has lost or is separated from a pet and wants to honor memories in a unique, positive and transformative way. Participants tap into the inner experience using a dynamic format that pulls from the sacred pet bond. They will be encouraged to express their fondest memories and work from an intuitive place to create a healing memorial.
The bereaved and separated will be guided through a process that allows for temporary detachment from grief, recognizing their spiritual connection with animals, and focusing on pets' gifts to their owners who continue their journey without them. All necessary collage supplies will be provided.
