Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) is an independent, non-profit agency offering quality adoptions, medical care, education programs and pet care services to enhance the human-animal bond. More than 20 rescue groups and shelters will participate in this event, featuring dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and "pocket pets," such as guinea pigs, hamsters and rats, for adoption. Additionally, HSSV will offer tips on how pets can "go green" with environmentally-friendly toys and other products available for purchase in HSSV's Whole Pets Store.
