This PRCA rodeo is a Central California tradition. Oakdale is rich with cowboy culture and the town comes alive for its beloved annual tradition. Rodeo action begins both days with the Grand Entry at 1:30 p.m. at the Oakdale Saddle Club. Scheduled events include: team roping; women’s barrel racing with bronc; and bull riding. The festivities begin at 9:00 am Saturday in downtown Oakdale with the annual rodeo parade, and conclude with the Saturday-night rodeo dance from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. with a meet and greet with rodeo cowboys.
