April 7, 2010 > A cup of tea with authors A cup of tea with authors Submitted By Melanie McInerney The Milpitas Public Library will host an author tea on Tuesday, April 13, at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to enjoy tea and cookies while listening to three popular mystery authors discuss their writing, their series characters and their latest books. Between them, Rhys Bowen, Penny Warner and Cara Black have written six different series, been nominated for every major mystery award and won several of them.. Their books are set in Wales, France, 1930’s England, turn-of-the-20th-century New York City, the California Gold Country, present day San Francisco and have been translated and printed worldwide Bring your own tea cup and prepare to spend a few enjoyable hours discussing a wide variety of mystery and mayhem. This program is free and is made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the Milpitas Library. A book signing will follow the presentation.
