March 31, 2010 > Madeira Relief Fund raiser Madeira Relief Fund raiser Submitted By Abe Sousa Many residents of Madeira Island lost their homes, their possessions and tragically their loved ones on February 20, 2010 when the island was hit by a deadly Cyclone. A fund raiser on Friday, April 9 has been organized by Madeira Relief Fund Committee with the co-operation of Newark Pavilion, for the storm ravaged residents of Madeira Island. The dinner will be a Tri-tip/Chicken Dinner with all the trimmings including wine at the Newark Pavilion in Newark. Program will start at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and entertainment at 7 p.m. Any other cash donations are appreciated. Checks should to be made out to Newark Pavilion/Madeira Relief a non-profit fraternal organization. Please send your donations to Abe Sousa at 1584 Washington Boulevard in Fremont. Tickets are $25 per person. Those who wish to participate only in dancing at 9 p.m., may purchase tickets for $10 per person.
