Thursday, March 11
Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Teddy Drive. Officers contacted several suspicious individuals hanging around the car. The subjects were in possession of numerous items of jewelry. Further investigation revealed the jewelry as being property stolen from a residential burglary on Dartmouth Avenue. Two suspects were subsequently arrested for committing the burglary.


Friday, March 12
Officers investigated an assault report on Cabello Drive and Dyer Street. Officers contacted a female victim who accused her boyfriend of assaulting her with a brick and holding her against her will. This case is under investigation.

Officers investigated a robbery that occurred on Nadine Court. In this case, a pizza delivery driver from Me & Ed's Pizza had just delivered a pizza on Nadine Court. When the driver entered his vehicle, he was approached by a black male. The suspect pointed a gun at the driver and demanded the property in his pockets. The suspect took the victim's cell phone, wallet and cash. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.


Sunday, March 14
Officers investigated a burglary report on Santa Susana Way. In this case, the homeowner arrived home and saw two unknown suspects leaving his house. Upon confronting the suspects, one of them pointed a pistol at him. The suspects then fled the area on foot, westbound on Santa Susana Drive toward Dyer Street. The residents then discovered that nothing had been taken from their residence.

Officers investigated a robbery that occurred at the Quick Stop Market on Whipple Road. In this case, a black male suspect entered the store and pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded cash. The suspect then fled on foot towards Medallion Drive.


Monday, March 15
Officers investigated an attempted homicide case that occurred on University Avenue. In this case, a male suspect stabbed his sister in the neck several times and then fled. The victim was taken to a local trauma hospital for treatment. The victim is currently in the hospital. The suspect was arrested two days later in the city of Hayward. He was booked for attempted homicide.


Tuesday, March 16
Union City officers assisted the Fremont Police Dept. with the service of a search warrant at the apartment complex on Mission Boulevard. Fremont PD served a weapons search warrant on a male suspect who was found in possession of illegal weapons. The suspect was taken into custody.
