"We received the 9-1-1 call around 2:30 a.m. The potential cause of the fire is accidental," said Union City Assistant Fire Chief Andy Smith. "The apartment was a total loss; it will have to be completely rebuilt." There were no civilian injuries and one minor firefighter injury.
