Educational seminar on pet adoption

Submitted By Kelly Grant

Pit bulls adopters are required to attend dog training classes, which are paid for up front by them and then reimbursed upon completion of the required training courses. To help offset these initial costs, HSSV turned to community trainers and veterinarians for help. To date, seven puppies have been adopted into loving homes and one is still available for adoption. People interested in adopting a Pit bull puppy are encouraged to attend a educational seminar about the Pit bull breed on Sunday, March 14 at 4 p.m. in HSSV's Education Center, 901 Ames Ave., Milpitas. For more information, visit or call (408) 262.2133 ext. 150.
