Oliveira School gets beautified

Submitted By Ivy Wu, FUSD School Board

Over 100 volunteers from Resonate Movement Church and Oliveira Elementary School showed up at Oliveira on February 27, to help clean up and beautify the campus as well as put together emergency supply kits for each student and classroom. The tireless volunteers worked from early morning to late afternoon. We want to start a movement by inviting the entire community to support all of our schools.

This dedicated group of volunteers: paved a muddy walkway, built a planter box, paved around the marquee, did general landscaping, gardening and clean up, painted blue trim around school windows, painted basketball and tether ball poles and new numbers on the playground, hung plants outside the office, painted picnic tables, provided emergency snack bins and emergency buckets, washed outside windows and helped with office work.
