Consent Calendar: Approve a funding agreement for new traffic signal at Mission Boulevard and Gurdwara Road. In order to facilitate bus service and pedestrian access to Fremont Gurdwara without bus encroachment in the adjacent neighborhood, costs (approximately $600,000) associated with the installation of a traffic signal will be shared by Caltrans (67%), AC Transit (11%) and the City (22%). Fremont Gurdwara is contributing $50,000 toward the City portion of the project.
Award a consultant contract for a permanent skate park not to exceed $210,240 to Verde Design, Inc. This will be modern concrete construction. The previous temporary facility was closed due to excessive maintenance costs. The new skate park is planned for the area north and adjacent to Aqua Adventure Water Park.
Adopt a resolution for a Master Agreement with East Bay Regional Park District allowing project grants under Measure WW for citywide play area and tiny tot play area upgrades. Availability of these funds will allow the City to transfer $400,000 previously allocated to General Capital Projects Fund to the Budget Uncertainty Reserve.
Approve a Memorandum of Understanding with Alameda County for reimbursement of funds for City Human Resources Department. Execute an 18 month contract with First 5 of Alameda County. Submit a grant application to Area Agency on Aging. Authorize access to criminal history information by staff for Emergency Medical Technicians certified by the Fremont Fire Department. Purchase two compressed natural gas street sweepers (not to exceed $566,833). Public hearing of Pacific Commons Planned District amendment.

Redevelopment Agency and City Council: Adopt the consolidated amended and restated redevelopment plan for the Fremont Merged Redevelopment Project.
