Fremont Chinese School

Submitted By Patty Chou

Chinese is one of the most popular languages in the world, and is gradually becoming a universal language because of its growing economic influence in the world market. As many businesses and industries set up manufacturing facilities and make investments in China having a good handle of the Chinese language increases one's chance of doing good business in and with China. Are you well prepared to learn Chinese?

Fremont Chinese School, established in 1972, has worked hard to raise teachers' standards to form a great learning environment for the students. All the students happily study and gain self-confidence through learning.

Chinese Language credits earned from Fremont Chinese School are accepted by the Fremont Unified School District and other school districts. These credits are equivalent to credits received from the students' home schools. Many high school students have been affected by the bad economy and budget cuts, so in order to take more classes in school, they choose to come to Fremont Chinese School to take Saturday Chinese classes. There are classes for students of all levels, ranging from beginning Chinese to AP Chinese.

Starting in the 2010 school year, Newark Memorial High School and Milpitas High School will also accept Fremont Chinese School academic credits. Good beginnings pave the way to success.
