Khalsa Sikh members of Fremont Gurdwara will contribute $50,000 for installing the light at Mission/Gurdwara Road. Bob Wasserman, the Mayor City of Fremont and all City Council members were present at Gurdwara Sahib to receive the check on February 12. Harjot S. Khalsa president of the Gurdwara Sahib said it would benefit not only Sikh members, but 300 nearby neighbors as well. Installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Gurdwara Road and Mission Boulevard will enhance the safety of vehicles turning in and out of Gurdwara Road and permit a safe crossing of Mission Boulevard for pedestrians.
