Consent Calendar:

Purchase of radio equipment for police department. Utilize a bid by Contra Costa County to achieve low costs for purchase of new mobile and portable radios compatible with federal P-25 radio standards. Amount not to exceed $1,801,300 including sales tax and trade-in of existing equipment.

Eminent Domain action on property located at 47010 and 47050 Kato Road needed for Mission Boulevard widening and Warren Avenue grade separation.

Recognitions:

Certificate of Appreciation to AT&T Foundation in recognition of a $20,000 grant
to the City's Infant Toddler Program

Recognition of League of Women Voters 90th anniversary

Road survey and funding alternatives for city streets was presented by staff. At present funding level, roads will degrade to unacceptable levels in the next 10 years. Although Stimulus Funds and grants have helped to maintain main thoroughfares, adequate funding sources are unavailable at this time. No Action Required.
