Milpitas Crime Statistics for year 2009

According to California Department of Finance Population Estimates, Milpitas population was 69,135 in 2008, increasing to 70,817 in 2009.

In 2009, crime rate went down 4.1%, taking into account a population increase of 2.4% (1,682 additional residents) from 2008 to 2009.

In 2009, violent crime rate went down 13.5%. Violent crimes consist of Murder, Rape, Robbery and Aggravated Assault.
