As in the past, a melodrama will be presented giving plenty of opportunity to gasp for the poor heroine, hiss and boo the villain and generally give voice to 'ahhs' and cheers from the enthusiastic audiences we've enjoyed in the past. This year's melodrama takes place in a Colorado Moose Lodge and is titled "She Was Only Marginally Modest or Have You No Shame!" by Vern Harden, and directed by Sue Marshall. Tickets are on sale beginning Thursday February 4 online and at Little Valley Winery Tasting Room at 739 Main St. in Downtown Pleasanton every Thursday to Sunday 12 p.m.-5 p.m. For more information please visit www.sunol.net/srt. Intermission refreshments are sold by local civic organizations (Girl Scouts, 4H etc). Over the years SRT has donated nearly $110,000 to Sunol Glen providing upgrades and equipment for the auditorium's audio/visual systems, funding the school's drama elective program and other Fine Arts endeavors.
