Organizations across the nation are facing budget cuts resulting in layoffs and reduced services. It is critical for everyone to pull together to help those in need. We have a wonderful volunteer base in our community, and for the past several years the City of Newark has honored these individuals at our annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony. Now, more than ever, it is so important that we thank the dedicated individuals who give of their time and energy to make life better for everyone.
