Thursday, January 14

Officers from the COPPS unit conducted a Parole Search at 806 'E' Street and arrested a male suspect for possession of 1.8 grams of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a parole hold. The suspect had a male guest at his residence that had outstanding arrest warrants. Both subjects went to jail.

Sunday, January 17

Officers detained a vehicle driven by a male subject. The subject and his vehicle were subsequently searched pursuant to the terms of his probation. During the search, officers discovered a bindle of cocaine and other indications of drug sales. Officers determined that the suspect was staying at the Motel 6 on Industrial Boulevard. A search of the motel room was conducted and 13 additional grams of cocaine and 72 tablets of Ecstasy were located. This suspect went to jail on numerous drug charges.

Wednesday, January 20

Officers responded to the area of 'I' Street near 12th Street for multiple reports of gunshots heard in the area. Several bullet casings were found in the street. Based on information received, three to four Male Adults in a vehicle were in an altercation with a group of Male Adults who were walking in that area. It is believed that someone in the car shot in an unknown direction and then all subjects fled from the area.
