Sunday, January 24 Fremont Hindu Temple will host India's Republic Day Kids Painting Competition. Children ages 3 years to 15 years are invited to participate. Participants may choose from any of the given topics like People, Places, Nature, Republic Day, Animals, Culture, Indian Dances, Indian Flag, Indian God and Goddess. Bring your color and supplies; paper will be provided. Winners will receive trophies, awards, certificates from dignitaries in the Republic Day function organized by Federation of Indo-Americans of Northern California (FIA) on January 31.
