The Mercy Brown Bag Program, a food distribution program for low-income seniors offered twice a month, is holding annual registration on January 14 at the Newark Community Center. There is an annual donation of $10 and proof of age and income will be needed at registration. To qualify for the program, monthly income should be $1354 or less for a single person, $2192 or less for a household of two or more. Please bring picture identification, proof of age and income. The program is open to all seniors and not just Newark residents.
