Friday, Dec 11:
Officers investigated a robbery at Penny Wireless involving three Black male suspects between 17 and 18 years old; one suspect was armed with a handgun. The suspects took an employee's wallet and property from the business and fled on foot. This case is under investigation.


Sunday: Dec 13:
Officers investigated an assault at a residence on San Carvante. The male suspect assaulted his father with a metal fireplace poker. The suspect left the scene but arrived at the police department minutes later to turn himself in. He was arrested and taken to jail.

A robbery occurred in the Safeway parking lot. The victim placed his Round Table Pizza on the top of his car while waiting for a companion. Two Black males about 17 years old battered the victim, knocking him to the ground. They grabbed the pizza and ran toward Union Square. This case is under investigation.

Officers detained a suspicious male sitting in a vehicle in front of a residence on "E" Street. The suspect was found to be in possession of methamphetamines. Friends of the suspect that lived in the house exited and were also arrested for parole violation and drug possession.


Tuesday, Dec 15:
A kidnapping attempt occurred on 'H' Street near 13th Street. A 17-year-old girl walking home from Logan High School was harassed by occupants (four Black Male Adults) of a dark colored 4-door sedan. One said something to the effect of "what kind of girl walks along by herself." The car left the scene but returned a few minutes later; one occupant got out and grabbed the girl's arm. The female victim struck him with her bag and ran away. This case is under investigation.


Wednesday, Dec 16:
A burglary was reported at a residence on 'D' Street. The resident called police to report someone trying to break in. Officers detained one male juvenile suspect exiting the back yard with stolen property from the home owner's garage. The suspect went to jail.


Thursday, Dec 17:
District Footwear (Courthouse Drive) was victimized by a third burglary in three weeks. The front window was broken. It is suspected that the perpetrators ran out the back door to a waiting vehicle.
