On Thursday, December 10, 2009, at about noon, a resident in the 800 block of Cameron Circle, in Milpitas, dialed 9-1-1 to report two intruders in her residence. The caller provided a detailed description of the intruders and their vehicle as they fled from her residence. Suspects' vehicle is 2000 Acura, TL, 4-door, White California with License number 6EMC224. A responding officer saw a vehicle matching the description fleeing the area and stopped the vehicle. There were three occupants, several burglary tools and gloves in the vehicle.
The investigation revealed two of the above suspects entered the victim's home, through a side window, and were interrupted by the resident before they could steal anything. They fled to an awaiting vehicle driven by the third suspect. All three suspects were booked into jail for burglary, conspiracy and possession of burglary tools.
The Milpitas Police Department would like to continue to encourage residents to call the police when any suspicious activity is seen or heard. Callers may remain anonymous when providing information and can call 9-1-1 for in-progress emergencies and (408) 586-2400 for non-emergency incidents, or the Crime Tip Hotline at (408) 586-2500.
