Fremont Fire Department Holiday Food and Toy Drive
The Fremont Fire Department is beginning its Holiday Food and Toy Drive. Each holiday season, the Fremont Fire Department accepts donations of non-perishable food and new, unwrapped toys at all 10 Fire Stations, and the Fire Administrative Office. Tri-City Volunteers, Inc. distributes the received donations to needy families in the Tri-City area. This process is assisted by the efforts of Fremont Fire Department volunteers.

Crippsmas Place
See wonderful holiday displays, character cut-outs and decorated houses adorned with festive lights. This has been a Fremont tradition for 40 years!
Donations support six organizations: Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, SAVE (Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments), HERS Breast Cancer Foundation, Kidango 'Gifts from the Heart' program and Adopt an Angel (Alameda County Child Protective Services.) Free candy canes handed out on Wellington Place.

Holiday Lunch at Newark Senior Center
Visit from Santa, a roast beef lunch and a chocolate fountain. Newark Adult school guitar students will be entertaining with wonderful music.
