Written Communications Approved Final Environmental Impact Report on the Housing element and addition of two new mixed use zoning districts called the Commercial Mixed Use (CMU) district and the Limited Commercial Mixed Use (CMUL) district.

Accepted deletion of records section for bicycles chapter of the Newark Municipal Code. City's bicycle licensing program no longer exists and does not keep these types of records.
Annual report on Newark Impact Fees for Fiscal Year 2008-2009 accepted.
Approved addition of a procedure to 'Personnel Rules and Regulations' for reducing employee work schedules by 25 to 50 percent in lieu of layoff

Non-Consent Approved solid waste collection and recycling services rates with no change. Current rates will continue without increase for 2010.
Redevelopment Agency Accepted annual report on financial transactions, housing activities report and basic financial statements for fiscal year, ending June 30, 2009.
Approved changes to the proposed Newark Redevelopment Project No. 2.
Approved agreement for contract services with Urban Futures Inc. for project area expansion. The increased cost for this expansion is $71,280.
