December 9, 2009 > Winter vacation fun Winter vacation fun Submitted By Corina Hahn Do something fun over Winter Vacation - Union City Leisure Services is offering a variety of day camp programs for children between December 21-31. Camp Polliwog, ages 3 - 5 years Winter Escape Camp, ages 6 - 11-1/2 years Winter Teen Camp, ages 11-1/2 - 16 years Union City Leisure Services Day Camps offer a variety of weekly field trips, sports, holiday arts-n-crafts, cooking and games. Programs are available Monday through Thursday during the winter vacation, between 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. and are located at either the Holly Community Center at 31600 Alvarado Boulevard or the Kennedy Community Center at 1333 Decoto Road. Weekly fees vary per camp, but limited scholarships are available. Weekly fee includes supervision by trained recreation leaders, all supplies, any entrance fees and transportation costs.
