Theatre Preview: "The Man Who Saved Christmas"
Stage 1 Theatre presents a very merry musical, with only two staged performances scheduled. "The Man Who Saved Christmas" is based on the true story of toymaker A.C. Gilbert, who battled bureaucrats in Washington D.C. over a ban on toy sales in 1917.
This "new old-fashioned musical" has won critical raves for its tuneful score, raucous comedy, and heart-warming sentiment. It is written and directed by Ron Lytle ("Oh My Godmother!) and presented as a Staged Concert for this Stage 1 Theatre Fundraiser
This musical is old-fashioned fun for the entire family and is guaranteed to put everyone in the holiday spirit.
