Nicolas Milpitas High School's Katie Le beat Kelly Chui of St. Francis High School and won the Central Coast Section girls singles tennis title for the second year in a row. Le, a senior, beat her fellow upperclassman 7-5 and 7-5 on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Courtside Tennis Club in Los Gatos. Opponents won zero sets against Le in the entire tournament. The Milpitas senior was undefeated in her junior and senior seasons. Her last loss was during the CCS playoffs of her sophomore year. Janet Liu and Emma Marti of Palo Alto High School defeated Monta Vista High School's Melissa Kobayakawa and Ruri Kobayakawa in their CCS doubles championship victory. The score was 6-3 and 6-2.
