November 18, 2009 > Global Youth Music Competition Global Youth Music Competition Submitted By Ray Maglalang Milpitas based, Lions Clubs international is looking for a contestant to represent the club at 2010 Lions Clubs international Violin competition. The Lions Clubs International Global Youth Music Competition is a unique cultural event that allows young musicians to showcase their talents. The competition is open to participants who are less than 25 years of age. All participants will play one required piece and two additional pieces they select from a list on the violin. Participants should have lived in the constitutional area they represent for at least five years. All finalists will perform on June 30, 2010, during the Lions Clubs International Convention 2010 in Sydney, Australia. Lions Clubs International will provide air fare and hotel accommodations for each finalist and one guest. We need only one entry per club in our district to represent our club- Milpitas Executive LC.
