October 7, 2009 > Knitting Circle Knitting Circle Submitted By Hayward Public Library It's almost scarf season! Instead of buying new winter gear, come to the Knitting Circle on Wednesday, Oct. 14 and 28 at the Hayward Main Library and make some yourself. For the first project, experienced knitters Star Urioste and Zanaib Green will assist newcomers create scarves. Later projects will include items such as sweaters, socks, gloves, and hats. Participants will need to bring size 10 or 10 1/2 size knitting needles and their yarn of choice to the class. Knitters of all skill levels are welcome.
