The Kiwanis Club of Fremont recently held its annual installation of Officers and Board of Directors at the Fremont Marriott. New elected officers include: Claire Torres, President; President Elect Kevin Fergason; Vice President, Shirley Sisk; Treasurer Alvin Dulcan; Secretary Tom Miller; Immediate Past President Marsha Badella. Directors for the 2009/2010 year are: Elise Balgley, Julie Brahmst, Tom Blalock, Chip Koehler and Allen Sprague.

Outgoing president Marsha Badella received the prestigious Dunlap Award from Kiwanis International for exceptional service.

Kiwanis Club is open to all who wish to serve the community through hands-on volunteer service. A signature annual event is Ducks for Bucks which raises over $40,000 annually for Tri-City schools and service organizations.
