October 7, 2009 > Art workshops Art workshops Submitted By Lucinda Bender The Fremont Art Association is pleased to announce a several upcoming workshops with renowned artist, Grace Rankin. "Fearless Watercolor" October 5, 19, 26 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fee is $18.00 per class or $50.00 for all three sessions. A session of watercolor workshops that will provide exceptional training in color mixing, relationships, use of pigments, brushes and papers, as well as other techniques. Due to limited seating, these classes are intended for all levels of painters as Rankin will assist each student individually. "The 21st Century Art Media-Collage" October 31 and November 1 The fee for this two-day workshop is $110.00, non-member and $95.00 for FAA members. If you are curious about collage, plan to enroll for a weekend of creativity. In this class Rankin will teach you several different approaches to collage, using lot of provided materials to experiment and play with in a place that lets your creative juices flow.
