September 30, 2009 > Stage 1 Auditions Stage 1 Auditions Stage 1 theatre in Newark will hold auditions for the Bay Area Premiere of Tony Award winning musical "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" (Lane/Yazbek; Director: John Maio, Choreographer: Kevin Hammond, Vocal Director: Pamela Hicks). Seeking 10 males (ages16-60); and 10 females (ages16-50). Non-traditional casting encouraged. No pay, non-equity. No appointments needed. Prepare 16 bars of ballad and up tempo music. Accompanist will be provided. Be prepared to dance and cold read from script. Rehearsals will begin Oct 26th Please bring your calendar with you so you can accurately document any rehearsal conflicts. Performances are on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays January 1 to 23.
