September 30, 2009 > Fremont Falcons win season opener Fremont Falcons win season opener Submitted By Tony Bautista Jr. The Fremont Falcons of Fremont Football League won their first opening game in four years beating the Rams for the first time, 38-0, on Saturday, Sept. 19. It was a very emotional game for the returning players who stuck through the tough season last year not winning a game. The kids came out this year to make a statement that the Falcons are for real, and proved it with their high-scoring, shutout 38-0 win. Chris Hansbury tallied two touchdowns, while Nico Rivera, Junior Diala and Marcus Dubois each had one in the team's five-touchdown output, thanks to the great blocking by the offensive line. Defensively, the Falcons played extremely well with a goal line stand to make the Rams go four-and-out from the 10-yard line.
