September 30, 2009 > Fall arts extravaganza Fall arts extravaganza The Hayward Arts Council is sponsoring an Arts Extravaganza on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11. This event replaces the Fall Open Studios. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the hour, there will be short talks and demonstrations of interest to artists. Maybelle Rasmusen, Bill Sala, and Robert Wolfe along with other Artists in Action are among the artists that will participate. For $35 per 4X8 station, artists are invited to display and sell their work. No commission will be charged. Admission to the event is free, and the public is invited. Light refreshments will be served. Because floor space is limited, the Council encourages artists to call, fax, or e-mail their registration as soon as possible.
